RhythmSense
RhythmSense is how ManChine listens to your rhythm — your breath, your pace, your everyday energy — so PGC-01 and RiCo can protect you without overwhelming you.
What RhythmSense actually is
RhythmSense is the internal sensing layer of Guardian Intelligence. It doesn't try to read your mind. It focuses on something simpler and more honest: how your body and day actually feel.
Using only non-visual signals from PGC-01 and the Guardian family — audio, motion, and subtle timing — RhythmSense learns your natural cadence over time:
- How fast you usually walk when you're calm vs. stressed.
- How your breathing changes when you're focused, tired, or anxious.
- How you move at home, at work, in transit, or at a kompa or church gathering.
- How your day normally flows — not in metrics, but in feel.
It turns that into a private baseline, held on your devices, so RiCo can answer one quiet question: "Is this moment in rhythm for you — or is something off?"
How RhythmSense listens — without cameras
RhythmSense is built for a camera-less PGC-01. It only uses signals that can be processed as patterns, not as surveillance:
Breath & voice cadence
Tiny shifts in how you breathe or speak — faster phrases, longer pauses, soft sighs. Processed on-device as timing and intensity, never stored as recordings.
Gait & micro-movements
IMU signals from PGC-01 map your steps, sway, head nods and small adjustments. Over time, the guardian learns what "normal" feels like for you in different spaces.
Tempo of your environment
Music, crowd energy, street rhythm — the background tempo of your world. RhythmSense aligns with your culture and context instead of forcing a generic "calm" pattern.
Time-of-day flow
How your mornings, afternoons, and nights usually move. When you're typically in motion, when you're usually resting, when you're often social.
What RhythmSense does for you
RhythmSense is not another fitness tracker. It doesn't chase steps, calories, or streaks. It exists to help you stay present, safe, and in your own rhythm — especially when the world gets loud.
Calm, not pressure
When your rhythm spikes or drops suddenly, RiCo can suggest one quiet breath, a slower walking pace, or a gentle change of route — never judgment, never shame.
Guardian context
In chaotic moments, DAIS uses your rhythm baseline as part of its confidence. If both your environment and your body say "something's wrong," the guardian speaks more clearly.
Family awareness
For Mini & Junior, RhythmSense can help caregivers see patterns without exposing kids to metrics: "more restless than usual" or "energy steadier this week," never scores or rankings.
Haiti & beyond
In Haitian communities and other places under stress, RhythmSense is a way to protect nervous systems — honoring local music, language, and daily struggle instead of ignoring them.
What RhythmSense will never do
RhythmSense runs under the same Guardian Intelligence Constitution as the rest of ManChine. That means built-in limits — on purpose.
- It will not label you with diagnoses, disorders, or permanent scores.
- It will not sell or share your patterns with advertisers, brokers, or third parties.
- It will not try to control your behavior. It suggests; you decide.
- It will not move beyond the senses you consent to — breath, motion, tempo — without your approval.
Your rhythm belongs to you. RhythmSense exists to protect it, not to turn it into a product.
RhythmSense roadmap
RhythmSense will roll out alongside PGC-01 and the Guardian family in stages:
- Phase 1 · Personal baseline — simple walking, breath, and time-of-day patterns.
- Phase 2 · Guardian fusion — rhythm fused with DAIS for smarter safety decisions.
- Phase 3 · Family views — calm, non-judgmental patterns for Mini & Junior caregivers.
- Phase 4 · Community pilots — iGate Haiti and other partners co-designing local rhythms.
Every step is opt-in, clearly explained, and grounded in the GI Constitution v2.0.
